Chapter 3 . Small Angle X - Ray and Neutron Scattering - Its Application to Supramolecular Solutions

The Langmuir-Blodgett film deposition technique has recently been used to fabricate a variety of dense electronic and nonlinear optics devices on a single crystal silicon surface. An important technological problem arises from the use of this technique: the interdiffusion of polymer and surfactant molecules between multilayers in LangmuirBlodgett films directly affects the stability of these films (as a function of temperature and age).
